We have made a change to the Ventrilo server. The lobby is now silent. What this means is that you can not talk in the lobby and must pick a channel, either a safe haven room or an adult room. We did this so people won't walk in on the lobby and here things that they wish not to here. To switch channels, use the Ventrilo scripts and/or double-click on the channel name to join.

The only ventrilo scripts I know of were written for jaws 3.7 threw 4.51, although they seem to work on jfw 5.1 just fine. They can be found at:

Be sure to read the help file that comes with the scripts for the useful keyboard commands. When u r in the tree view of channels, to enter a specific channel, arrow down to that channel and press shift enter.

Oh, so that's why people weren't answering me in the lobby! Lol! Gosh, I'm so dense! I was like, "Why does it say it's silent when there's people in here?" And I was like, "Can anyone hear me?"./ Hahahhahaa. ... ALso I have WIndow-Eyes and don't use scripts, and Ventrilo works fine for me. Just a comment.
